Various US government agencies provide technical assistance and capacity building in the area of intellectual property rights (IPR), to assist members of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in their efforts to implement the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property (TRIPS). These US government agencies work together to leverage their respective skills to meet the objectives of the technical assistance and capacity building projects. US government agencies also work in partnership with international intergovernmental organizations, including the World
