World Trade Organization WT/BOP/R/88 16 November 2007 (07-4995) Report (2007) of the Committee on Balance-of-Payments Restrictions This report has been prepared pursuant to the Procedures for an Annual Overview of WTO Activities and for Reporting Under the WTO (WT/L/105). The Committee met to consult with Bangladesh under Article XVIII:B on 3 May 2007. The Government of Bangladesh declared that it would remove its remaining restrictions on salt, chicks and eggs by end-2008; as such, the Committee concluded that Bangladesh had met its obligations. The Committee met on 14 November 2007 to hold its sixth annual review under China's Transitional Review Mechanism according to paragraph 18 of China's Protocol of Accession.
