REPORT (2006) OF THE WORKING GROUP ON TRADE, DEBT AND FINANCE
TO THE GENERAL COUNCIL
1. The Working Group on Trade, Debt and Finance met on 11 April and 18 July 2006 under the Chairmanship of Ambassador Peter Brňo of the Slovak Republic.
2. At the meeting on 11 April, at the suggestion of the Chairman, the Working Group revisited the recent submissions made by Members, i.e. communications from the ACP Group (WT/WGTDF/W/30 and Corr.1; WT/WGTDF/W/32; WT/WGTDF/W/35) and Argentina (WT/WGTDF/W/33) which had been received prior to the Hong Kong Ministerial Conference and had been subject to some discussion in the Working Group in 2005. The report of the meeting is contained in WT/WGTDF/M/13.
3. The second meeting of the Working Group was held on 18 July. In the absence of any new submissions, the agenda of the meeting included all written proposals received from Members since the establishment
