MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL FOR TRADE IN GOODS
1 OCTOBER 2004

The meeting of the Council for Trade in Goods, convened by airgram WTO/AIR/2391, proceeded on the basis of the proposed agenda contained in document G/C/W/494.
The Chairman, before proceeding with the adoption of the agenda, drew Members' attention to the communication, received from Thailand on behalf of Australia, Brazil, Malaysia, Argentina and Thailand, requesting that the issue "EC Enlargement: Procedures under Article XXVIII:3 of GATT 1994" be included as an additional item for this meeting. It had been faxed to all delegations on 29 September 2004. He had undertaken consultations with a group of Members on this matter and proposed that this issue be added to the proposed agenda.
