The following communication, dated 5 January 2005, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Guatemala.

Guatemala's WTO commitments, essentially those relating to paragraph 2 of Annex III of the Agreement on Implementation of Article VII of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994 (minimum value reservation, document G/VAL/43), require that it submit a status report in this regard. I therefore wish to inform you that the waiver allowing Guatemala to apply minimum values for the goods classified under Harmonized System tariff headings 6309 (used and worn clothing), 8701, 8702, 8703, 8705 (used motor vehicles) and 8711 (used motorcycles) ended
