2002 changes in the harmonized system
Submission of Documentation
Schedule LXXXII – Hong Kong, China
The following communication, dated 29 April 2002, has been received from the Permanent Mission of Hong Kong, China.

In response to the letter of 28 March 2002 by the Chairperson of the Committee on Market Access, my authorities have asked me to submit the following documentation for verification:
- the Loose-Leaf Schedule and
- the Concordance Tables.
I would like to draw your attention to the following: for merged and condensed tariff lines, Hong Kong, China applies the lowest rate among previous tariff lines to the whole of the new tariff lines.
Hong Kong, China started implementation of HS 2002 with effect from 1 January 2002, and would wish to be covered by the collective waiver.
