SUMMARY REPORT OF THE MEETING
HELD ON 16-18 OCTOBER 2002
Note by the Secretariat
The Negotiating Group on Rules held a formal meeting on 16-18 October 2002.
A. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
The Group adopted the following agenda:
A. Adoption of the Agenda
B. Regional Trade Agreements
C. Subsidies and Countervailing Measures, including Fisheries Subsidies
D. Anti-Dumping
E. Other Business
- Timing of the submission of papers for consideration at the next formal meeting of the Group
regional trade agreements
The Chairman noted that the Group had not received any new document since its last meeting in July, and suggested that, as foreshadowed in his fax to delegations, open-ended informal discussions on transparency of regional trade agreements (RTAs) could take place upon conclusion of the formal debate.
